Admin, editor and viewer
Everyone with a sign-in has one role on your board: Admin, Editor or Viewer. The role decides which parts of the admin the person sees and what they can change.

Admin
Admins can open and change everything in the admin, including all of Settings, Users and the Audit log. Only admins can invite people, change roles and remove people.
Editor
Editors create and change content: Meetings, Compliance, Documents, News, Pages and Tasks. They can open Board members, Office staff and Designations under Settings, and they can deploy to the public site. They do not see the rest of Settings, Users or the Audit log.
Viewer
Viewers have a read-only view. Their icon rail shows only Dashboard, Tasks and Deploy, they can read the Tasks list but not change it, and Deploy is refused for them with a message.
Confidential records
Admins can open records marked Confidential. An editor can open them once an admin ticks Can open confidential records on the editor's row on the Users page. Viewers do not have that option.
Your own role
Nobody can change their own role. To change yours, ask another admin, or ask your BoardSites administrator.
